Founded in Woodside, Queens, NY in 1960 by Warren "Tex" Wells, William "Bill" Kildare, and Constantin "Connie" Lazuta, Allied specialized in engineered mechanical and electrical solutions to production, design, maintenance and procurement problems. Allied personnel were "Specialists in all phases of Motion and Control...", and reflected the founders' goal to be a provider of solutions, not just product; innovative thinking for the early 1960's...

In June, 1989, Allied was acquired by Richards Company, and the facility was moved to its present location at the Nassau/Suffolk county border, in close proximity to all major transportation facilities of the New York Metropolitan Area. We have kept the original name, and trademark logo, as well as carrying out the founders' vision at the forefront of our efforts to serve our customers.
